Ceramic Plate - Ganymede
Hand painted by Guillaume Sardin, in Malicorne, a French town from the region famous for its ceramics. Since the XVIIIth century, artisans have been using the clay from the surroundings to create glazed ceramics. Guillaume turns the plate into stories. Ganymede as the most handsome of mortals and tells the story of how he was abducted by Zeus.
